The purchase of a new Southern Cross Pet Insurance (SCPI) PetCare or AcciPet policy during the Promotional Period constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

  1. The promotional period is 1 May to 30 June 2026 inclusive (“Promotional Period”). 

  2. To be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw (“Eligible Entry”) you must:

    • Apply and be accepted for a new PetCare or AcciPet policy during the Promotional Period; and

    • Enter or use the promo code BESTIE at the time of application.

  3. Only one promo code may be used per policy purchased. Promo codes cannot be combined, stacked or used in conjunction with any other promo code offer. In the event you are eligible for more than one (1) promo code offer you can choose which one you want to apply. Further this offer is not available in conjunction with any other offer, promotion or incentive that SCPI may be running at the same time, including (but not limited to) other gift card offers or partner promotions.  

  4. FreeCover and renewals of existing policies are not eligible for this Prize Draw.

  5. There are fifty (50) prizes to be won in total for the Promotional Period, each prize comprises of one (1) $200 Prezzy® card. 

  6. There will be 2 monthly draws, with 25 Prezzy cards to be won each month from that months’ Eligible Entries. The first monthly draw will take place on 10 June and the second monthly draw on 8 July 2026.

  7. Prize winners will be drawn at random from the Eligible Entries, and the prize winners will initially be notified by email using the details provided to SCPI. If contact cannot be made in the initial attempt, up to two further attempts will be made to notify that prize winner by either email or telephone. If contact cannot be established with one or more of the Prize winners by email or phone within 1 month of the Prize Draw, that prize will be re-drawn.

  8. Each prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash. SCPI may substitute any prize with an alternative prize of equivalent value without notice.

  9. The administrator of the Prize Draw is SCPI.

  10. SCPI’s decision is final.

  11. The Prezzy® card will be issued subject to and in accordance with these terms and conditions and any Prezzy® card terms and conditions, including the requirement for the card to be redeemed by the expiry date on the Prezzy® card. See https://www.prezzycard.co.nz/terms-and-conditions.

  12. SCPI accepts no responsibility or liability of any kind to any person in relation to this offer  or the Prezzy® card, or liability for applications for a new SCPI policy that are not received, are incomplete, or are accepted with a policy start date outside of the Promotional Period.

  13. Staff, contractors or agents of SCPI and other Southern Cross branded businesses and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win the Prize Draw.

  14. SCPI may use any personal information collected during the Prize Draw to administer the Prize Draw.

  15. Personal information collected in relation to the Prize Draw will be held by SCPI, Level 1, Te Kupenga, 155 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. Subjects of personal information have the right to access and request correction of any personal information held about them in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
