Sign up to Southern Cross Pet Insurance 6 weeks FreeCover to go into the monthly draw to win a Puppy or Kitten Pack – 30 to be won each month.

Terms and conditions

By signing up for a Southern Cross Pet Insurance (SCPI) 6 weeks FreeCover policy during the Promotional Period you are automatically entered into the SCPI ‘Win a pawsome Puppy or Kitten pack’ prize draw (“Prize Draw”) and your Eligible Entry constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

  1. The promotional period is 1 March to 31 May 2024 (“Promotional Period”).

  2. To enter the Prize Draw you must apply for and be accepted for a SCPI 6 weeks FreeCover policy during the Promotional Period (“Eligible Entry”). There will be a prize draw at the end of each month of the Promotional Period and all customers who signed up during that month will go into that months’ Prize Draw.

  3. There are thirty (30) prizes to be won each month. Each prize comprises one (1) Puppy or Kitten pack. PetDirect is the supplier of the Prize (“Supplier”) and has valued the packs up to $198 each (Prize). The pack won will be dependent on the pet’s species and size and toy colour may vary from pack to pack.

  4. Each monthly Prize Draw will take place on 5 April, 6 May and 5 June 2024 respectively. Prize winners will be drawn at random from the Eligible Entries for that month and the Prize winners will be notified by telephone. If a Prize winner is not reasonably able to be contacted within 10 days of each Prize Draw, another winner will be drawn for that Prize.

  5. The administrator of the Prize Draw is SCPI.

  6. SCPI’s decision is final.

  7. To the extent permitted by law SCPI makes no warranty or guarantee in relation to the monthly Prize Draws or the Prizes. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit or exclude any liability under the Consumer Guarantee Act 1993 or any other statutory rights that any Prize winner may have in relation to the Prizes.

  8. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, SCPI (and its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability for any direct, indirect, special or consequential loss, damage or injury arising in any way in connection with the Prize Draws or acceptance or use of any Prize.

  9. The Prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash. SCPI may substitute the Prizes with alternative prizes of equivalent value without notice.

  10. Staff, contractors or agents of SCPI and other Southern Cross branded businesses and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win the monthly Prize Draws.

  11. SCPI may use any personal information collected during the monthly Prize Draws to administer the Prize Draws and for marketing SCPI’s products and services in the future.

  12. Personal information collected in relation to the monthly Prize Draws will be held by SCPI, Level 1, Te Kupenga, 155 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. Subjects of personal information have the right to access and request correction of any personal information held about them in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
