The purchase of a new Southern Cross Pet Insurance (“SCPI”) PetCare or AcciPet policy during the Promotional Period constitutes acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

  1. The promotional period is 1 November 2026 to 28 February 2027 inclusive (“Promotional Period”).

  2. To be eligible for entry into the Prize Draw (“Eligible Entry”), you must:

    • apply and be accepted for a new SCPI PetCare or AcciPet policy during the Promotional Period; and

    • enter or use the promo code SUMMER at the time of application.

  3. Only one (1) promo code may be used per policy purchased. Promo codes cannot be combined or stacked.

  4. FreeCover and renewals of existing policies are not eligible for this Prize Draw.

  5. There are twenty (20) prizes to be won in total during the Promotional Period, with five (5) prizes to be won for each calendar month of the Promotional Period.

  6. Each prize comprises one (1) Prezzy® card with a value equal to 12 months of the premium payable for the Prize winner’s new policy, up to a maximum value of $2,500 (“Prize”).

  7. The value of each Prize will be calculated based on the annual premium payable for the Prize winner’s new policy at the time the policy is accepted by SCPI.

  8. If the annual premium payable for the Prize winner’s new policy is less than $2,500, the Prize value will be equal to that annual premium amount. If the annual premium payable is $2,500 or more, the Prize value will be capped at $2,500.

  9. The Prize will not be adjusted to reflect any changes a Prize winner subsequently makes to their policy which increase or decrease their premium.

  10. Prize winners remain responsible for paying the full premium for their SCPI policy. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize does not replace, reduce, refund, credit, or otherwise alter the premium payable for any SCPI policy.

  11. Five (5) Prize winners will be drawn at random from the Eligible Entries received during each calendar month of the Promotional Period. The Prize Draws will take place on the second Tuesday following the end of each calendar month, as follows:

    • Entries received between 1 November 2026 and 30 November 2026 will be drawn on Tuesday 8 December 2026.

    • Entries received between 1 December 2026 and 31 December 2026 will be drawn on Tuesday 12 January 2027.

    • Entries received between 1 January 2027 and 31 January 2027 will be drawn on Tuesday 9 February 2027.

    • Entries received between 1 February 2027 and 28 February 2027 will be drawn on Tuesday 9 March 2027.

  12. Prize winners will initially be notified by email using the details provided to SCPI. If contact cannot be made in the initial attempt, up to two (2) further attempts will be made to notify that Prize winner by email and/or telephone. If contact cannot be established within one (1) month of the applicable Prize Draw, that Prize will be re-drawn.

  13. Each Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash. SCPI may substitute any Prize with an alternative prize of equivalent value without notice.

  14. The administrator of the Prize Draw is SCPI.

  15. SCPI’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

  16. The Prezzy® cards will be issued subject to and in accordance with these terms and conditions and any Prezzy® card terms and conditions, including the requirement for the card to be redeemed by the expiry date on the Prezzy® card. See the Prezzy® card terms and conditions.

  17. SCPI accepts no responsibility or liability of any kind to any person in relation to this offer or the Prezzy® cards, or liability for applications for a new SCPI policy that are not received, are incomplete, are declined, or are accepted outside the Promotional Period.

  18. Staff, contractors or agents of SCPI and other Southern Cross branded businesses and their immediate families are not eligible to enter or win the Prize Draw.

  19. SCPI may use any personal information collected during the Prize Draw to administer the Prize Draw.

  20. Personal information collected in relation to the Prize Draw will be held by SCPI, Level 1, Te Kupenga, 155 Fanshawe Street, Auckland 1010. Subjects of personal information have the right to access and request correction of any personal information held about them in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020.
